Camopleone IGT Magnum

Sommelier Note

Sommelier Note

An extraordinary collector’s offering of the estate’s award-winning signature red, presented exclusively in the prestigious large-format bottling inside an individual artisanal wooden box. The 1.5L Magnum vessel slows down the aging process dramatically. This grants the 2010 and 2013 library selections an immaculate integration of components. The structural acid profile of classic Sangiovese perfectly balances the deep black-fruit mass of mature Merlot. Highly acclaimed by international wine critics, these library magnums are built for long-term cellaring, showing tertiary layers of dark cacao, leather, and refined pipe tobacco.

Organoleptic Profile

02.

Appearance: Deep, concentrated garnet red with intense brick-rim variation and heavy, slow structural tears.

Nose: Highly complex, tertiary library bouquet defined by dried blackberries, stewed plums, and dried figs, layered with roasted espresso beans, dark cacao, forest floor, sweet cedar wood, and fine pipe tobacco.

Palate: Monumental structural mass and velvet texture. Enveloping, fully integrated tannins coat the palate, supported by an enduring vein of acidity, leading into a highly persistent, spice-driven finish with savory dark fruit resins.
